John Hrasch was the first player in Ohio University baseball history to be named first team All-American by the American Association of College Baseball Coaches. In 1950, he played shortstop. Hrasch signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates after his junior year and was killed in an auto crash in 1952. His career batting average was .371. Played on the 1948 Ohio University MAC championship baseball team.
