Stanley Dougan averaged over 10 strikeouts per game while playing 3 varsity years and struck out 19 in one game for an Ohio University baseball mark that still stood at the time of induction. He played professionally in Canada where he had 2 no-hit, no-run games and a 20-4 season in 1914 before entering medical school to pursue a medical career. President of his senior class of 1914, Dr. Dougan later became a director of the Ohio University Alumni Association and in 1954 was a Certificate of Merit winner from the university.
