Carroll Widdoes was the head football coach here at Ohio University from 1949 to 1969. Before Ohio University he was at Ohio State University as the interim head coach here he guided the team to a 9-0 record with the Big Ten Title. During Widdoes time here at Ohio University he led the Bobcats to a 42-36-5 record over nine seasons. He later became the athletic director during his time at Ohio University before he retired in 1969.Â
