Ohio Volleyball Announces 2026 Nonconference Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio volleyball team has released the nonconference portion of its 2026 schedule, as announced by head coach Kenzie Brinkman on Friday, June 26.

The Mid-American Conference announced the in-league matchups for the 2026 season at the end of April; the release is available HERE.

Ohio will kick off the 2026 season against Niagara on Friday, Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. ET in Huntington, W. Va. The Bobcats will be play two matches on Saturday, Aug. 29. Ohio is set to face Bucknell at 12 p.m. ET followed by a game against host, Marshall, at 7 p.m. ET.

The Bobcats will remain on the road, traveling to Indianapolis, Ind. Ohio is set to play host, IU Indy, on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. ET. The Bobcats will then face Youngstown State on Friday, Sept. 4 at 12 p.m. ET. Ohio will conclude competition in Indianapolis at Butler on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. ET.

Up next, Ohio will travel to University Park, Pa. for two games against Penn State and Stanford. The Bobcats will play Penn State on Saturday, Sept. 12 and Stanford on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Ohio will conclude nonconference play at home with its Bobcat Invitational on Sept. 18-19. The Bobcats will host Morgan State, Mercyhurst and UNC Asheville. Ohio will kick off the invitational with a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 18. The Bobcats are set to play Morgan State at 10 a.m. ET and UNC Asheville at 7 p.m. ET. Ohio will conclude its home tournament with a match against Mercyhurst on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. ET.
