Steven Skaggs played basketball from 1976-1979. He had a career total of 7,714 points and held the most FG attempts (1,495). He also had the most FG-made career (703) and the most FT-made career (1,741). Skaggs also received First Team Academic All-America in 1977, 1978, and 1979. He was All-MAC Second Team in 1977 and 1978. He then signed with the Cincinnati Reds in 1978. He also won the NCAA post-season scholarship in 1978-1979 (rare, only 6 given). In 1980, Skaggs graduated with a BBA in Business.
