Mike Haley was named AII-Mid-American Conference basketball twice, in 1964 and 1965. His 432 points were the sixth highest single season at the time. He finished ninth in MAC scoring with 17.3 per game. He was co-captain and co-MVP in 1965. He played on the 21-6 1963-64 team that advanced further in post-season play than any team in the history of the MAC, the final eight, at the time. He finished with 868 career points in his three varsity seasons, an 11.6 average for 76 games. He and teammate Don Hilt were a MAC menace in their careers, combining for 1,316 rebounds and 2,136 points.
