Joseph "Bull" Sintic was an All-Ohio and an All-Buckeye in football in 1932. He was a running back known for his ramming style of hitting the line with his head down, hence the nickname “Bull.” He also placekicked for the Bobcats. Sintic also competed on the wrestling team and finished 6th in the NCAA Wrestling Championships at 175 pounds in 1932. He lost just one wrestling match in his three years and later defeated that adversary in the state championship. He took 2nd place at the International Invitational Wrestling Meet at the Chicago World’s Fair. He was a member of the Chi Sigma Chi fraternity.
