Lewis Geter was a member of the basketball team from 1990-1992. Originally from Columbus, this two-year letter-winner transferred to Ohio from Nebraska prior to the 1990-91 season. At the time, he led the Bobcats in scoring (18.1 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg) as a junior. He finished runner-up in the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year voting and was a unanimous First-Team All-Conference selection. As a senior, Geter led the league in scoring (20.9) and was second in rebounding (8.4). As the MAC’s Player of the Year, he led Ohio to an 18-10 record, received the MAC Scholar-Athlete Award, and repeated as a first-team all-conference selection. He graduated with a BSSE × Sport Industry.
