Ron Fowlkes was a two-time first team All-Mid-American-Conference end (1963 and 1964) and an honorable mention All-MAC honoree in 1962. Known mostly for his outstanding blocking and defensive play, Fowlkes caught 13 passes for 206 yards. He lettered for three years in 1962, 1963, and 1964. He signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1965 and played as a defensive back with the San Diego Chargers in 1965 and 1966.
