Mark Wylie was a four-year letter winner in basketball and baseball. At the time of his induction, he held two Ohio University basketball records, most consecutive free throws made (32) and highest free throw percentage (.863). In baseball, he won over 25 baseball games and registered over 200 strikeouts. He signed with the Cleveland Indians baseball club. Wylie was one of the top five pitchers in their farm system. He finished his rookie year with an 11-2 record. After a career ended injury, he managed in the Cleveland farm system for six years where he won a pennant at North Platte, Nebraska.
