Les Ream graduated in 1977 with a BS in Business Administration. As a four-year letter winner for Bobcats Baseball, he served as a tri-captain during his senior season. As a junior, he was named to the third-team All-America, All District 4 and All-Mid-American Conference teams and followed that with All-CAM honors the next year. At the time, he broke the single-season school record for games played (45), at-bats (157) and hits (53) as a junior. During his sophomore season, he had a 16-game hitting streak, which supported his .374 batting average. He finished his career hitting .351. At the time, he finished his career in the top 10 for total bases, runs, at-bats, runs batted in and triples. In 1976, he received Academic All-MAC Honors.
