Marti Heckman was the all-time MAC and OU career assist leader with 810, she had a top three single-season OU assist marks: 194-230-277, from 1983-1986, was fifth on OU all-time steals list with 130, was eighth in all-time scoring with 856 points and was tenth in OU all-time rebounding with 410 at the time of induction. She was named to the All-Northeastern University Tournament team in 1985. She played on Ohio’s first MAC tournament championship team, 26-3, that advanced to the NCAA. She was All-MAC First-Team in 1986 and honorable mention in 1984. At the time of induction she held all OU assist records for game (19), season (277), and career (810), from 1982-86. She led the MAC in all-time assists, men and women, for three years, 1984-1985-1986. Heckman, at the time of induction, held MAC and OU records in assists for a game (19) and for a season (254) in 1984.
