Michael Arbinger is a decorated member of Ohio University’s baseball history. In single season records, he is placed fifth in batting average (.417), tied for fourth in runs scored (62), fourth in home runs (20), tied for seventh in runs batted in (57), sixth for total bases (159) and second for slugging percentage (.828). For career records, he is tied for sixth in games played (208), seventh in at bats (740), fifth in hits (266), tied for fifth in home runs (38), fifth in runs batted in (175), third in total bases (444), and fifth in bases on balls (107). In 2002, Arbinger was First Team All-MAC and All-District IV/All-Mideast Region. He also earned All-American Second Team in 2002. After his collegiate career, the talent signed as an undrafted free agent with Pittsburgh. He later played for the Washington (Pa.) Wild Things.
