Tyler Tettleton was a member of the Ohio football team (2009-13). He etched his place as the most prolific quarterback in the history of the football program, owning school records for passing yards (9,125), passing touchdowns (67) attempts (1,176), completions (734), completion percentage (62.4) and total yards gained (10,027). Tettleton is responsible for the top-three seasons in program history in terms of passing yards, throwing for 3,302 in 2011, 2,851 in '13 and 2,844 in '12. He also owns the school's single-season records for passing touchdowns (28), attempts (415), completions (267) and total yards gained (3,960), all of which were set in 2011. He earned All-MAC Third-Team honors for his efforts that season as he helped lead the Bobcats to the MAC East Division title. During his three seasons as Ohio's starting quarterback, Ohio won 26 games, made three bowl appearances and captured the first two bowl victories in program history – a 24-23 triumph over Utah State in the 2011 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and a 45-14 victory over Louisiana-Monroe in the 2012 Advocare V100 Independence Bowl.
