Anne Bolyard won four letters each in track and in basketball. She was an Ohio and MAC record holder in 1988 with a throw of 169’7”. She was a United States Olympic Festival team member and volunteer for Track and Field in 1987 and an NCAA qualifier in the javelin in 1988. She won MAC javelin titles in 1986, 1987, and 1988. Bolyard was the Ohio track MVP in 1986 and 1987. She played on the 1985-1986 MAC basketball championship team and was an NCAA participant. She ranked 11th in rebounds in 1987-1988 with 200. She was in a three-way tie for Athlete of the Year her senior year. All while doing this, she still excelled in the classroom by earning a 3.776 cumulative GPA. In 1987, she became the first woman in Ohio University history to win javelin at the Penn Relays.
