Charles "Skip" Vosler has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement award for his service to Ohio athletics. Vosler served as Head Athletic Trainer from 1971-1997 and was the Director of the Athletic Training Education program at Ohio for 25 years. He was recognized as Head Athletic Trainer Emeritus in 1999. Vosler helped begin the undergraduate athletic training program at Ohio in 1971 and the postgraduate degree in 1977. He helped design numerous products and protective devices which were utilized in the sports industry. He was an active member of the Ohio Athletic Trainer's Association and related athletic health care programs in Ohio. He was also inducted into the Defiance College Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 26, 1981.
