Jane Maher was a three-time letter winner in lacrosse and a four-time letter winner in field hockey. At the time of her induction, she was the all-time leading scorer in lacrosse at Ohio with 170 goals in three seasons. She was a three-time BRINE Regional All-American and led the nation in points average, goal average, and assist average. She was a part of the 1981-1982 MAC Championship team. In field hockey, Maher led the team to the MAC Championship in 1981 and 1982. She won the "Team Player" award her last three seasons and the "Best Passer" award as a junior. During her career, the Bobcats won the AIAW State Championship, advanced to Regionals in her freshman season, and won the MAC Championship in her junior season. As a senior, Maher led the field hockey team to a 20-8 record.
