Ed Robbins earned Second-Team All American honors in 1970, where he was 14-1 and helped pitch Ohio University into the College World Series. At the time of his induction, he held many pitching records such as Most Strikeouts, Most Wins, Most Games Started, Most Consecutive Wins, Most Innings Pitched, and Most Batters Faced. He still holds the record for Most Wins, season (14); Innings Pitched, season (120); Games Started (17). He currently is seventh all time for Winning Percentage (.933); third all time for Strikeouts per season (109); fifth all time Strikeouts total (214); seventh all time Earned Run Average (23); fourth all time Wins (23). He earned First Team All-MAC, All-District IV and All-American in 1970. He earned three baseball letters (1968, 1969, 1970). He signed with the Pittsburg Pirates. He graduated with a BS in Education in 1970.
