Terry Harmon was a Second Team All-American baseball selection here in 1965 and Third Team All-District Four in 1964. His career batting average is .401. He was All-MAC at shortstop in 1964 and at third base in 1965. Terry signed with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1965 and completed 9 years as a utility infielder. His best year with the Phillies was in 1972 when he hit .284 while platooning at second base. He held a major league record for “Most chances accepted by a second baseman in a nine-inning game-18", set on June 21, 1971, against Cincinnati. He served with the Phillies as a player representative for four years.
