Caroline Mast led both the Ohio University career basketball records and those of the Mid-American Conference with 2,449 points and 1,223 rebounds. She was the first Ohio and MAC basketball player to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds. She held 8 of 13 MAC records, including scoring average, 23.0 ppg, and rebounding average 11.7. She was MAC Player of the Year three times, and Freshman of the Year in 1982-83. She was a Freshman Team All-America and twice All-America in 1985 and 1986. She was All-MAC four years, from 1982-86. She was also Academic All-MAC all four years and a GTE and COSIDA Academic All-America in 1985 and 1986. She had a 3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. She earned the Dean’s List every college quarter. She was co-captain her last two seasons, MVP of the MAC tournament in 1986, and led Ohio to its finest season, 26-3, in 1986.
