Barry Reighard finished third in the nation at 190 pounds in 1972 to lead his team to an eighth-place finish in the nation and earn All-American honors. He won two Mid-American Conference titles, at 190 pounds (1972) and at 177 pounds (1973). He registered the Most Falls in the MAC in 1970 and 1971. He was a member of the East-West All-Star Team his senior year. Ohio won the MAC Championship during each of his three varsity seasons. He graduated with a BS in Education in 1973.
