Robert Tatum was a Second-Team All-American selection in 1985 and a two-time co-captain in 1985 and 1986. A four-year letterman, when he was inducted, he was listed in seven different categories in the Ohio record book, leading Bobcat scoring in 1985-1986 with a 17.2 ppg average and seventh in history for career points (1348). He played on two MAC tournament championships, two NCAA qualifiers and one NIT qualifier. He also played on four 20-game-winning teams in succession. His buzzer shot beat Illinois State in the NCAA in 1983.
