At the time of induction, Bunk Adams was the fourth all-time career scorer at Ohio with 1,196 points, earning All-MAC twice, playing on two MAC basketball title teams, and receiving Honorable Mention United Press All-America in 1960. He won three basketball letters during his four years. He was All-Conference Second Team of the Mid-American Conference in 1958-1959 and All-Conference First Team in 1959-1960 and 1960-1961. He was also U.P.I Honorable Mention All-American in 1959-1960 and 1960-1961. He was a member of two championship Mid-American Conference basketball teams in 1959-1960 and 1960-1961. He captained the basketball team from 1960-1961. He was also selected as an alternative member of the U.S. Olympic Basketball Team in 1964.
