Robert Tscholl was a wrestling All-American who earned that distinction in 1973 at the NCAA Championships when he finished 5th in the nation at 153 pounds. He won the Mid-American Conference championships in 1972, at 150 pounds, and again in 1973, at 158 pounds. In his freshman year, Tscholl was ranked first in the MAC heading into the championships when he was injured and could not compete. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta social fraternity.
