Hall of Fame
Dick Schorr was the “Voice of the Bobcats” for 31 years, serving as the football and basketball play-by-play announcer for the Ohio Bobcats Radio Network until 1998. In addition to his work for the Bobcats, he freelanced for a number of television broadcasts and called men’s basketball NCAA tournament games. In 1996, he became a charter member of the MAC Media Hall of Fame and was a 1978 inductee into the Logan High School Hall of Fame. He also received an honorary degree from Ohio University in 1985.
