Chet Adams was an All-Ohio football player in 1937 and 1938. He played football for the Cleveland Rams until the war forced suspension of operations. He then played for the Green Bay Packers for a year until he joined the U.S. Army. After the war, he returned to Cleveland and played for the Rams-turned-Browns again.
