Len Janiak was a member of the Ohio football team (1935-39). He was an All-Buckeye and All-Ohio fullback in 1938. During his tenure, the team went 17-7-2 and in 1938 won the conference championship. He played on two championship Bobcat football teams. He played professional football for one year with the Brooklyn Dodgers and three years with the Cleveland Rams. Post graduation, he coached at St. Stanislaus for 19 years and won seven state championships.
