2021: Played in 26 games with 23 starts for the Bobcats… Finished with an 11-13 record and a team-best 4.32 ERA… Pitched seven shut out innings against Bowling Green (Apr. 17) with five strikeouts… Led team with 17 complete games and 146 innings… MAC Pitcher of the Week (Mar. 16).
*2020 – Made seven appearances for Ohio while making three starts…Recorded a 3.13 ERA with a 2-2 record, two complete games and one shutout…In 22.1 innings, allowed 13 runs on 24 hits, walked four and struck out seven…Picked up her first win of the season on March 8 against Merrimack, pitching seven innings and did not allow a run on four hits…Picked up her second win on March 10 against Providence, pitching seven innings and allowed only one run on three hits, while striking out five.
2019: Appeared in 20 games making 15 starts including seven CG’s in the circle in her freshman season…Logged 94.0 innings while striking out 55 batters and registering a 9-4 record with one save and a 3.50 ERA…Recorded her first career save in her first game tossing 1.0 innings against Eastern Illinois (Feb. 8)…Recorded her first win tossing a complete game allowing just one hit against Morehead State (Feb. 9).
Prior to Ohio: Helped Mater Dei High School, Santa Ana to a CIF-SS Division I Championship in 2016 and will be the team's starting pitcher her senior year. As a junior in 2017, Kohl earned Defensive "MVP" Player of the Year, All League Trinity Second Team, All County Third Team and won the Alan Dugard Championship where Kohl threw back-to-back shutouts in the semifinal and championship round. Kohl's travel ball experience includes stints with the California Cruisers Sievers, Firecrackers Brashear and Firecrackers Blanco. In 2017 with Firecrackers Brashear, she helped her team to an 18U Southern California Coastal championship and a top-10 finish in the 18U PGF Premier. In 2016, Kohl assisted Firecrackers Brashear to a PGF Platinum championship.
Personal: Born August 21, 1999, she is the daughter of Kelly Kohl and Michael "Mickey" Harris. Her father played football for LSU from 1984-88. Kohl plans to major in Business and start a career in business management and marketing sports.In the classroom, Kohl was honored to the National Society of High School Honors. Her extra-curricular activities include Red Cross Club, Gone to the Dogs Rescue, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, Homeless Essentials Bag Project, Disney Club and the Marter Dei Youth Softball Camp. Her hobbies include community service, traveling, fashion and photography.
