A veteran athletics communications professional, Sara Legarsky joined the Ohio Athletics department in September of 2014 and currently serves as the Senior Director of Comminications.

In her current role, Sara serves as the primary media contact for men's basketball, softball and swimming and diving, while overseeing volleyball and field hockey. She also serves as the secondary contact for Bobcats football.

Sara arrived in Athens after serving as a media relations graduate assistant at Oklahoma State University from 2012-14. In that position she was responsible for publicity of the softball team and the primary contact for the OSU equestrian team. In 2012 she served as the primary contact for the Cowboy cross country team that won the 2012 NCAA National Championship. While at OSU, she completed her master's degree in Mass Communications in May 2014.

In addition, Sara served as the press conference moderator at the 2014 Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Sara graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications.

While at St. Bonaventure, she spent three years as a student intern in the sports information office where she served as the primary contact for the men's and women's swimming and diving teams. In addition, she served as the media contact at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships from 2010-12 in Buffalo, N.Y.
