Paige McMenemy was named the 13th head coach in the history of the Ohio softball program in June 2026.

McMenemy, a native of Westerville, Ohio, spent five season as the head coach at Tiffin University where she led the Dragons to 152-106 overall record and a 79-41 mark in the G-MAC, including a 77-29 overall record and a 41-7 conference mark over the last two seasons. McMenemy was the 2026 and 2025 G-MAC Coach of the Year and led Tiffin to back-to-back G-MAC regular season championships and NCAA DII Midwest Regional appearances.

In 2026 McMenemy and Tiffin went 34-16 and 20-4 in conference, winning a second-straight G-MAC regular season championship, earning her second G-MAC Coach of the Year award and leading the Dragons to their second-straight NCAA DII Midwest Regional. As a team, Tiffin hit .324 with 447 hits, 82 doubles, 10 triples, 38 home runs and 306 runs scored. The Dragons ranked 32nd nationally in batting average, 17th in ERA, 34th in RBIs per game, 37th in scoring and 27th in shutouts The Dragons were led by Ella Esterby where she ranks ninth nationally in complete games, 12th in shutouts, and 17th in innings pitched. The G-MAC Pitcher of the Year ranked second in ERA, second in strikeouts, second in wins, first in innings, and third in opponents' batting average in the conference.

The Dragons had a record-setting year in 2025. Tiffin's 43-14 record set a new school Division II victory mark. The team finished the season ranked 17th in the nation and won the G-MAC regular season championship. Nationally the Dragons were fifth in shutouts, 10th in ERA, 13th in hits, 14th in doubles, 16th in RBI, 17th in W-L percentage, 18th in team strikeouts per seven innings, 19th in WHIP, 21st in triples, 22nd in runs, 24th in scoring, and 24th in batting average. In the G-MAC, Tiffin led in batting average, doubles, ERA, hits, home runs, on-base percentage, RBI, scoring, shutouts, slugging percentage, runs, team strikeouts per seven innings, triples, and W-L percentage.

During 2025, McMenemy coached freshman Jessica Miller to NFCA First Team All-American honors in a season where she led the Dragons in batting average (.415), runs scored (61), doubles (25), triples (5), slugging percentage (.718), and on base percentage (.486). Her 25 doubles broke the Tiffin single season doubles record and led all of NCAA Division II and was named the G-MAC Player of the Year, G-MAC Freshman of the Year, and First Team All-G-MAC. She was named NFCA All-Midwest Region First Team and D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team and was a D2CCA Second Team All-American.

McMenemy is no stranger to the Mid-American Conference, spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Toledo, where she primarily worked with the pitchers. While with the Rockets, McMenemy helped the team win its first Mid-American Conference Tournament title in program history. McMenemy coached Erin Hunt to a spot on the MAC All-Tournament Team and the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

As a player, McMenemy spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons with Akron and the 2017 and 2018 seasons with Ashland. In four years, McMenemy appeared in 91 games (46 starts), tossing 351.1 innings for a 3.99 ERA and 203 strikeouts. McMenemy collected Second Team All-GLIAC honors in her junior season, and her 39 mound appearances are tied for the third-most in Ashland history.
