2021: Played in 11 games with one start for the Bobcats… Posted a 1-2 record and a 6.41 ERA in 19.2 innings… Pitched a season-high 5.1 innings with five hits and two earned runs against East Carolina (Feb. 27).
*2020 – Made eight appearances and three starts to go along with one complete game…In 35.1 innings, allowed 21 runs on 38 hits, walked 21 and struck out 15…Made her first career start on Feb. 9 against UAB…Pitched a full 15 inning game on Feb. 16 against Lipscomb, going the distance while allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three…Struck out a career-high four batters on Feb. 21 against N.C. Central.
Prior to Ohio: Played softball for the Ohio Outlaws and Wyoming East High School. Through three seasons, the right-handed pitcher has put together a 54-12 record over 391 innings, striking out 824 batters, while tossing 17 no hitters, 20 shutouts and four perfect games. Through those innings, Brehm has only allowed 128 hits and 116 walks. At the plate, Brehm is batting .514 in 254 at bats. Of her 130 hits, 11 are homeruns, with 85 RBI, 86 runs scored and has drawn 50 walks. Brehm is a two-time WOAY Player of the Year, earning the honor in 2017 and 2018, She is also a three-time First Team All-Coalfield Conference, three-time First Team All-State, two-time Sectional Tournament MVP and a two-time member of the State All-Tournament Team. Through the last three seasons, Brehm has led her team to the sectional tournament title three times, the regional tournament title twice and has helped the team make two state tournament appearances in 2017 and 2018.
Personal: Brehm is the daughter of Juli and J.R. Brehm and has one brother, Dylan and two sisters, Savannah and Paytin. Brehm is planning to major in Exercise Physiology/Pre-Physical Therapy and plans to become a Physical Therapist.
