ATHENS, Ohio -- Playing in the final regular season home game of the 2021-22 season, the Ohio women's basketball team will look to defeat their rivals Miami on Wednesday night (March 2). The Bobcats (14-12, 8-9) will match up against the RedHawks (8-19, 4-14) for the second time this season looking to avenge a 63-60 road loss in January. Miami secured their first MAC win of the season in the previous matchup between these two rivals, a 63-60 victory on Jan. 17 in Oxford. Ohio was led by
Cece Hooks with 22 points and 10 rebounds while
Erica Johnson joined her in double-figures with 15 points.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
Miami has lost seven of their last eight MAC contests, picking up the lone win in a 90-77 victory against Central Michigan on Feb. 12. NO SLEEP TILL CLEVELAND
As the last week of the regular season begins, Ohio finds themselves currently on the outside looking in, currently in 9th place. However, the Bobcats have the ability to play their way into the top-8 in the conference and book a trip to Cleveland
SEASON HIGH FOR HOOKS
