Biography
2020-21: Played in 21 games with 10 starts for the Bobcats… Averaged career-high 3.6 points per game with 1.2 rebounds per game… Made game-winning three-pointer against Buffalo on Jan. 20 to complete 11-point final minute comeback.
2019-20: Appeared in 11 games for Ohio ... Had five points against Toledo (Feb. 19) on 2-of-3 shooting with one made three.
2018-19: Appeared in 32 games for Ohio, averaging 2.5 points per game and 10.1 minutes per game...Knocked down 25 threes and shot 35.7 percent from deep...Pulled in 24 rebounds...Had a career-high 12 points in win over EKU on Nov. 18.
2017-18: Bambule played six games for the Bobcats…Scored her first bucket in a Bobcat uniform against Notre Dame (Ohio) on November 16th...Averaged 6.7 minutes per game and 0.8 points per game.
Prior to Ohio: Bambule scored 304 points her sophomore season and dished out 77 assists and shot 48 percent from three-point range while playing in 30 games for Montini Catholic High School and head coach Jason Nichols. That season her team placed third in the state and Kaylee was awarded All-Conference, Conference MVP, Daily Herald All-Area and IBCA Second Team All-State honors. Bambule was also named Academic All-Conference her junior season. Bambule was First Team All-State and All-Conference her junior year. For her career, Bambule has hit 176 three-pointers and is also an ESPN three-star recruit.
Personal: Kaylee is the daughter of Jeff and Yvonne Bambule. She has one sibling, Jake, who currently attends Lewis University
