2020-21: MAC Player of the Year… MAC Defensive Player of the Year… All-MAC First Team… MAC All-Defensive Team… All-America Honorable Mention… Earned MAC Player of the Week five times… Scored 628 points, sixth most in program history… Averaged MAC-leading 25.1 points per game in 25 games… Recorded 94 steals for 3.8 per game and led team with 6.6 rebounds per game and four assists per game… Became second player in program history to score 2,000 points on Feb. 10 against Ball State… Scored over 30 points five times and notched second triple-double in program history with 31 points, 11 assists and 10 steals on Mar. 6 against Miami.

2019-20: MAC Defensive Player of the Year ... First-team All-MAC ...  MAC All-Defensive team member ... Three-time MAC East Division Player of the Week ... Scored 527 points, 10th most in program history in a single season and was No. 64 in the nation ... Had 106 steals, second-most in program history for a single season and was fifth in the nation and first in the MAC ... Started and appeared in 29 games... Averaged 18.2 points per game and shot 45.2 percent from the field (198-of-438) ...  Tied the single-game program record for points in a game at Akron (Feb. 22) with 41 points on 17-of-26 shooting ... Had double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds against IUPUI (Dec. 7) ... Posted 35 points on 14-of-29 shooting at Central Michigan (Feb. 1) ... 2018-19: MAC Defensive Player of the Year...First-team All-MAC...MAC All-Defensive team member...2019 MAC All-Tournament team member...Two-time MAC East Player of the Week...Hooks broke her own record for steals in a season with 112...Finished No. 12 in the nation and first in the MAC in steals per game with 3.11...Started all 36 games for Ohio and averaged a team-best 17.7 points per game...Her 636 points were the fourth-most in a single season at Ohio...Made more field goals (251) in a season than anyone else at Ohio...Became Ohio's 16th 1,000 point scorer and was the second-fastest to hit that mark...Shot a team-best 49.2 percent from the field, finishing No 72 in the nation...Knocked down a team best 118 free throws...Averaged 5.1 rebounds per game and 4.1 assists per game...Saw the floor for 1,043 minutes...Had a career-high 31 points twice,once against Purdue on Dec. 5th and once at Akron on March 2nd...Had 13 games with 20 points or more...Had a double-digit scoring output in every game but three...Produced 26 points, 12 assists, seven rebounds and seven steals against Ball State on Feb. 2nd...Recorded two double-doubles.

2017-18: Hooks played in 30 games for the Bobcats, averaging 25.1 minutes a game and 13.5 points…She also averaged a team-high 4.8 rebounds a game, while shooting 47% from the field and 60% from the free throw line…She broke the single season Ohio record for steals with 100…With her 406 points during the season, Hooks became the second-highest scoring freshman in program history...During MAC play, Hooks averaged 14.8 points per game in 25.9 minutes on the court... She also averaged 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 steals, 1.5 assists and shot .625 from the free throw line. Hooks also protected the ball well, only turning it over 35 times in 17 conference games...Hooks also led the MAC in steals and was eighth in the nation in the same category...Recorded five points and four assists in her first career game against High Point on November 12th…Hooks tallied a then career-high 22 points against Western Michigan on January 23rd. She recorded six rebounds and shot seven of nine from the field…She scored 28 points on 8-of-17 shooting and three steals in her first career start against Ball State on February 3rd, and followed that up with a career-high 30 points and nine steals against Central Michigan on February 7th…Hooks scored 14 points on five of eight shooting and swiped the ball 12 times off the bench in the first round of the MAC Tournament against Akron…Cierra was named MAC Freshman of the Year, All-MAC Third Team and MAC All-Freshman Team...She was a two-time MAC East Player of the Week award winner.   

Prior to Ohio: Hooks averaged 17 points, five assists and 12 rebounds per game and had played for one year under head coach Khalil Franklin. A scholar-athlete, Hooks was ranked 295 in the country according to Collegiate Girls Basketball Report and 81st best guard in her position. She was also rated a four-star recruit according to Prospects Nation.

Personal: Cece is the daughter of Theresa White and has one brother, James, and one sister, Sabria. Sabria attends Sinclair community college.
