MAC Announces 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Conference Schedule

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has released its 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule, as announced by the league on Wednesday, Aug. 11. The conference schedule includes 18 in-league matchups with nine games on the road and nine games to be played in the Convocation Center.
Ohio women's basketball is set to kick off the new year with conference competition. The Bobcats will open MAC play with Bowling Green on Saturday, Jan. 2 in the Convocation Center. The following week, Ohio will travel to Michigan for two conference matchups. The Bobcats will start the week with a matchup at Western Michigan on Wednesday, Jan. 6 before heading to Ypsilanti to play Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Jan. 9.
The Bobcats return to the Convocation Center to host Toledo on Wednesday, Jan. 13. Ohio will then travel to Akron for a road matchup on Saturday, Jan. 16. Following Akron, the Bobcats return home for two straight conference matchups in the Convocation Center. Ohio will start the week by hosting Buffalo on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The Bobcats will remain home for their first Battle of the Brick matchup against Miami on Saturday, Jan. 23. On Wednesday, Jan. 27, Ohio is scheduled to travel to Toledo for a midweek matchup. The Bobcats will close out January with a home against UMass on Saturday, Jan. 30.
Ohio will kick off the month of February with a road game at Kent State on Wednesday, Feb. 3. Conference play will be briefly interrupted by the second games of the MAC-SBC Challenge, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 6. The Bobcats will resume conference play when they host Ball State on Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the Convocation Center. Up next, Ohio will hit the road for two MAC games. Ohio will play at Bowling Green on Saturday, Feb. 13 before heading to Central Michigan for a matchup on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
On Saturday, Feb. 20, the Bobcats are scheduled to return to Athens for a home game against Eastern Michigan. Ohio will briefly hit the road to Buffalo for a game on Wednesday, Feb. 24 before returning home for two-straight games. The Bobcats return to the Convocation Center to host Western Michigan on Saturday, Feb. 27. Ohio's final home games will be against Akron on Wednesday, March 3. Ohio will conclude the regular season on Saturday, March 6 with their second Battle of the Bricks matchup at Miami.
The Mid-American Conference Tournament will take place in Cleveland, Ohio on March 10-13 at Rocket Arena.
