Biography

2025: Started 24 of 36 games played in… Recorded 17 complete games, seven shutouts, two saves and two no-hitters… Allowed 77 runs, 65 earned, 65 walks and struck out 124 batters in 169.2 innings pitched… Lead the MAC with a 1.54 ERA during conference play… First no hitter was March 9 against Longwood… Second came on April 29 against Ball State… Named 2025 MAC Pitcher of the Year… Earned First-Team All-MAC honors… Named to the MAC All-Tournament Team

2024: Started in 26 games with 39 appearances on the mound… Led the Bobcats in ERA (2.69), strikeouts (119), wins (17), saves (4) and innings pitched (198)… Allowed 193 hits and 102 runs with 883 batters faced… Named MAC Softball Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 21), Co-Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 27).. Received First Team All-MAC Honors.

2023: Led Bobcat Pitchers in appearances (38), starts (30), ERA (2.59), wins (18), complete games (20), shutouts (3), saves (2), innings pitched (202.2), strikeouts (158)… Allowed 106 runs on 198 hits against 928 batters faced… Pitched a nine-inning shutout at Ohio State on April 4...Recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts against Buffalo on May 7… Named MAC Freshman Pitcher of the Year… Named First Team All-MAC...Named to MAC All-Freshman Team.  

2022: Did not play due to injury

PRIOR TO OHIO:  Played for Bradford High School and played last travel ball season for the Beverly Bandits where she was coached by former Bobcats Rona Dorsey and Alyssa Wolfe. Skipp hold four varsity letters in cross country, two in basketball and two in softball. In 2018, Skipp registered a 0.70 ERA and 303 strikeouts for Bradford softball. She also went 23-2 as a starter and hit .549. During that season, Skipp was named first team CCC, first team All-District, first team All-State and CCC Player of the Year. After her 2018 season, Skipp tore her ACL during  basketball season in 2019 and was unable to compete in her junior year in 2020 due to Covid19. 

PERSONAL: Skipp is the daughter of Skip and Sommer Miller and has two brothers, Tucker and Ross, and one sister, Austy. Skipp enjoys working out, baking and crocheting, and her favorite athlete is Jennie Finch and is a big fan of the Cleveland Guardians. Skipp plans to major in Sport Management with hopes of becoming an athletic director one day.
