PRIOR TO OHIO: Ferres was a All-State student-athlete at Burrell High School where she played volleyball and softball...Earned All-Section honors for softball...Played club softball for Thunder Elite. 

PERSONAL: A native of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of David and Nicole Ferres...Her father played baseball at Portland State and was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds...Her brother, Elijah, plays baseball and rugby collegiately as well...Her hobbies include sleeping, eating and volleyball...Intends to study business marketing at Ohio to become a real estate agent in the future.
