PRIOR TO OHIO: Played softball at Grove City High School for Ted Williams and this year will play travel ball for Ohio Lasers Gambone. In 2019, led Grove City with nine homeruns, 10 doubles, 37 runs scored, while hitting .452. Hit .413 in the fall of 2020, .397 in summer 2019 and .427 in the summer of 2018. In 2018, Maddie was named second team All-OCC and Honorable Mention Central District. In 2019, Maddie was named All-State honorable mention, first team All-District, first team All-OCC and Columbus District Second Team All-Metro. In 2019 Grove City was District Champions.
PERSONAL: Maddie is the daughter of Sean and Annie Wilcox and she has two sisters, Taylor and Kennedy. Her sister Kennedy graduated from Ohio in 2018. Her grandfather, Rich Gregor, wrestled for the Bobcats from 1959-1963 and he played soccer for two years. Maddie enjoys spending time with her niece, Elli. She is also a fan of Patrick Mahomes, the Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Chiefs. Maddie plans to major in Education to become a teacher and high school softball coach.
