2024: Made 42 starts with 48 appearances… Tallied a .256 hit percentage on 32 hits with two home runs and seven doubles… Scored 28 runs, 10 RBI and took 15 walks… Stole 19 bases… Had two RBI against Toledo (Apr. 16).
2023: Played in 37 games while making nine starts… Scored nine runs and recorded one RBI… Drew four walks and stole two bases.
2022: Played in 43 games while making 38 starts at second base…Hit .184 with 16 hits in 87 at bats…Recorded three doubles, one triple and three homeruns to go along with six RBI…Scored 16 runs and recorded 30 total bases with a .345 slugging percentage…Drew 10 walks and was hit by a pitch eight times to lead the Bobcats…Went 6-for-6 in stolen bases…Hit her first career homerun on March 4 at No. 16 Georgia…First career hit came on Feb. 26 against Dayton.
PRIOR TO OHIO: Played for West Mifflin Area High School where she is a four-time varsity letter winner in basketball and softball and a two-time captain in both sports. She also played for the Ohio Outlaws for six years under coach Jimmy Hoffner. As a sophomore, she had a .497 batting average with 34 hits, 27 runs, 19 RBIs, and four homeruns with a 93 percent fielding percentage as a shortstop. Yuhas helped guide her team to the WPIAL playoffs in the 2018 and 2019 seasons after a five-year drought.
PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Mark and Kimberly Yuhas, and has two brothers, Shane, who played football at Slippery Rock University and graduated in 2013, younger brother Peyton, and three sisters, Melissa, Kayley, and Ashleigh. Her father played football at Tulane, Northern Arizona, and for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yuhas is a fan of LeBron James, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Los Angeles Lakers. She enjoys basketball, working out, and shopping. Yuhas plans on majoring in pre-nursing and wants to be a labor and delivery nurse.
