Biography

2018: Played in 35 games for the Bobcats, starting 18 of them…Registered a .209 batting average, with nine hits, one double, one triple, 12 runs scored and two RBI…registered a .393 on base percentage, drew 10 walks and was 6-of-8 on stolen base attempts…Registered a double in Ohio's opening game of the season against Virginia…Recorded a triple against Jacksonville State on Feb. 18…Went 3-for-4 with a run scored against Wagner…Scored runs in Ohio's MAC semifinal game against NIU, and in the championship game as well…Also scored the Bobcats' only run against Tennessee on May 10.

2017: Played 21 games for Ohio, stepping to the plate 59 times scoring 12 runs, 15 hits one RBI and one double...Walked seven times and stole 15 bases...registered 31 putouts and earned a .254 batting average with a .333 OBP...named Academic All-MAC...had the second most stolen bases on the team (15)

2016: Appeared and started in all 60 games this season in center field…Batted .262 on the year with 202 at bats…She recorded 53 hits including four doubles…She had her first career hit against Longwood and also scored both runs that game bringing the Bobcats to their first win of the season…Cole registered 30 runs and five RBIs including a walk off single against No. 12 Kentucky…With 24 stolen bases on the year, three coming against Virginia, she is now tied for eighth in stolen bases in a single season…She had 86 putouts on the year and four assists with a .968 fielding percentage.

Prior to Ohio: Four-year letter winner in Softball and Golf…MVP Softball (2012,2013,2014,2015)…MVP Golf (2014,2015)…1st Team All-League Softball (2013,2014,2015), 1st Team All-District Softball (2013,2014,2015), 1st Team All-State Softball (2013,2015), 2nd Team All-State Softball (2014)…Set the State stolen base record in a season with 71…Set the State career stolen base record with 215…Softball team became League Champions in 2012 and 2015…Member of the Honor Roll all four years…Played for Coach Dan Cole and James Phlarety on the Ohio Lasers Blue and the Ohio Ice.

Personal: Daughter of Dan and Kim Cole…Has three siblings: Eric (36), Chad (35) and Danielle (26)…Lists Jackie Robinson as her favorite athlete…Plans to major in Exercise Physiology.
