Lilli Piper

After an All-American career at Ohio State, Lilli Piper has been key for the Bobcats as an assistant coach since joining the program in 2022. Piper is also currently playing professionally with Athletes Unlimited.   

In her first season in Athens, Piper helped coach ten student-athletes to the 2022-2023 Easton/NFCA Academic Team. Skipp Miller was named Freshman Pitcher of the Year and received MAC First Team honors along with Annalia Paoli and Yasmine Logan. Tori O’Brien and Alexis Dawe received Second Team nominations, while Belle Hummel received All-Freshman Team honors. Paoli and Dawe received NFCA All-Mideast Region honors. She coached ten athletes to Academic All-MAC honors, and five received Academic All-District honors. 

Piper came to Ohio after spending one season as a volunteer coach at Michigan State, where she worked primarily with the infield.
   
Piper played three seasons at Ohio State where she played for Jenna Hall. During her three seasons with the Buckeyes, Piper was a three-time NFCA All-American, three-time First Team All-Midwest Region selection, three-time First Team All-Big Ten, three-time First Team Academic All-Big Ten and was a Big Ten All-Defensive Team selection. 
 
Piper, playing primarily at third, helped lead Ohio State to three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances and hit a single season program record 20 home runs in 2018. 
 
Piper began her college career at Akron where she was a two-sport athlete, playing basketball and softball. 
 
She graduated from Ohio State in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology and Education. Â
