Ohio Women’s Track & Field’s Greenwell & Besett Conclude Competition at the Billy Hayes Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Ohio women's track and field team concluded competition at the Billy Hayes Invitational on Friday, May 8.
Two Bobcats represented Ohio in the mid-distance events. Senior Sophie Besett (Twinsburg, Ohio) competed in the women's 800m invite and junior Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) competed in the women's 1500m invite.
In the women's 800m invite, Besett took home ninth place with a time of 2:08.69. Greenwell went on to win the women's 1500m invite with a time of 4:18.30.
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Ball State, on May 14-16 in Muncie, Ind.
