
Seven Bobcats Named to 2025-26 CSC Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District Team

ATHENS, Ohio – Seven members of the Ohio cross country and track & field programs have been named to the 2025-26 Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday, June 23.
The seven athletes include junior Emilee Baumann (Powell, Ohio), senior Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio), junior Andrew Bracken (Westerville, Ohio), junior Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.), graduate student Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio), sophomore Lauren Mader (Green Bay, Wis.) and sophomore Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind.).
The CSC Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined athletic and academic performances. Eligible student-athletes must have at least a 3,50 cumulative grade point average. Specific athletic eligibility requirements for track & field and cross country athletes are based off TFRRS performance list ranking at the time of nominations. Only individual top performances are to be used, but athletes may use relay event rankings if criteria for individual performance is met. For NCAA institutions, athletes with a top 50 regional ranking throughout the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field season are deemed eligible
Emilee Baumann (Women's T&F): Baumann is working toward a bachelor's degree in Nursing and currently has a GPA of 3.648. During the indoor season, the junior ranked 29th for the women's pole vault in the NCAA Great Lakes region. Baumann shined during the outdoor season; ranking 15th in the Great Lakes region and 73rd on the NCAA DI East list for the pole vault.
Leila Boussedra (Women's XC/T&F): Boussedra is working toward a bachelor's degree in Environmental & Plant Biology and currently has a GPA of 3.656. The senior competed in both cross country and outdoor track & field. During the outdoor season, Boussedra earned top 50 rankings in both the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters. She ranked 18th in the NCAA Great Lakes region for the 5,000m. Boussedra also ranked 16th in the Great Lakes region and 78th on the NCAA DI East list for the 10,000 meters.
Andrew Bracken (Men's XC): Bracken is working toward a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and currently has a GPA of 3.906. In addition to his work in the classroom, Bracken was a top 50 performer at the NCAA DI Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Championships. Bracken led Ohio in the men's 10k race with a 41st place finish at the regional meet.
Ellie Greenwell (Women's XC/T&F): Greenwell is working toward a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology (Pre-Physical Therapy) and currently has a GPA of 3.858. It was a stellar year for Greenwell, including her cross country debut and qualifying for the NCAA East Preliminaries. During the indoor season, she ranked 38th for the 800m and 29th for the mile in the NCAA Great Lakes region. During the outdoor season, she ranked 12th for the 1500m and 17th for the 800m in the Great Lakes region. Additionally, she qualified for the NCAA East First Rounds in the 1500m where she placed 40th overall in the event.
Kelsi Harris (Women's XC/T&F): Harris is currently working toward her master's degree in Child & Family Studies and has a current GPA of 3.967. She previously earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio in Psychology (3.733 GPA). After a successful cross country season, HaHarris earned regional rankings during both indoor and outdoor track & field. During the indoor season, she ranked 20th for the 3,000 meters and 11th for the 5,000 meters in the NCAA Great Lakes region. During the outdoor season, she ranked 12th for the 10,000 meters and 24th for the 5,000 meters. Harris also ranked 64th on the NCAA DI East list for the 10,000m.
Lauren Mader (Women's T&F): Mader is working toward a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and currently has a GPA of 3.776. During the outdoor season, Mader ranked 21st in the discus in the NCAA Great Lakes Region. She narrowly missed a top 50 ranking during indoor season, finishing 66th in the region for the weight throw.
Kaitlyn Stewart (Women's XC/T&F): Stewart is working toward a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education and currently has a GPA of 4.00. The sophomore kicked off the year with a top 50 finish in the women's 6k race at the NCAA DI Great Lakes Regional Cross Country Championships. During the indoor season, Stewart ranked 45th for the mile and 48th for the 5,000 meters in the Great Lakes region. During the outdoor season, she ranked 38th for the 1500m and 24th for the 800m in the region.
