
Ohio Women’s Track & Field Heads to 2026 MAC Outdoor Championships

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio women's track & field team is scheduled to compete at the 2026 Mid-American Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Ball State in Muncie, Ind., on May 14-16.
The meet will kick off on Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. ET with the heptathlon and women's hammer throw. The first day of the championships will consist of several field events, some preliminaries for running events in addition to the finals of the 10,000 meters. Friday will start at 10 a.m. ET and will focus on the conclusion of the multi events, the next set of field events, the remainder of the track preliminary rounds and the 3000m steeplechase. The meet will conclude on Saturday, May 16. The final day of competition is set to start at 9 a.m. ET.

As Ohio looks to continue its success from prior conference championships, the Bobcats are sending its largest group to compete at the MAC Outdoor Championships in several seasons. Ohio concluded the 2026 MAC Indoor Championships with four medals and eight podium finishes. Several Bobcats who experienced success at the indoor conference meet will also compete this week. These athletes include freshman Aubree Beery (Lancaster, Ohio), senior Sara Doughman (South Lebanon, Ohio), sophomore Jaclyn Garvey (Grand Blanc, Mich.), junior Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.), graduate student Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio), freshman Alyvia Mentlow and sophomore Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind.). Other top athletes to watch include seniors Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio), Allie Martin and sophomore Lauren Mader (Green Bay, Wis.)
