Ohio Women’s Golf Releases 2025-26 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio women's golf team has announced its 2025-26 season schedule, head coach Kelly Ovington announced today (Aug. 26). The scheduled sees the Bobcats head to the Bahamas in late October and 2026 MAC Championships set to take place at Firestone Country Club in late April. 

The season begins Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the 2025 A-Ga-Ming Invitational. The two-day event is hosted by Central Michigan at the Sundance Golf Course in Kewadin, Mich. The Bobcats are then back in action Sept. 15-16 at the 2025 Brittany Kelly Classic hosted by Ball State at The Players Club at Woodland Trails in Yorktown, Ind. The Bobcats placed second at least year's event. 

After two weeks off, Ohio returns to action Oct. 6-7 for the 2025 Rocket Classic. The two-day event is hosted by Toledo at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio. The Bobcats return to the event as the 2024 Rocket Classic Champions, where senior Mackenzie McRee is the defending individual champion. 

The Bobcats then head to Kettering, Ohio for the 2025 Dayton Flyer Invitational. The two-day event is hosted by Dayton at the NCR-South Course. The Bobcats conclude the fall portion of their schedule Oct. 24-26 for the 2025 White Sands Bahamas Invitational. The three-day event is hosted by Northern Illinois at the Ocean Club Golf Course in Nassau, Bahamas. 

Ohio begins the spring slate Feb. 20-22 at the 2026 Rio Verde Collegiate. The three-day tournament is hosted by Western Michigan at the Rio Verde Country Club in Rio Verde, Ariz. The Bobcats are back on the course March 2-3 for the 2026 River Landing Classic hosted by UNC Wilmington. The event is set to take place at the River Landing Golf Course in Wallace, N.C. 

March 30-31 sees the Bobcats head to Johns Creek, Ga. for the 2026 Georgia State Invitational. The two-day event is hosted by Georgia State at the Rivermont Golf Club. The 2026 Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge is scheduled for April 6-8. The three-day tournament is hosted by Golfweek in Pawley's Island, S.C. at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club. 

Ohio closes out the regular season April 17-18 when they head to Columbus, Ohio for the 2026 Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational. The event is hosted by Ohio State at the OSU Scarlet Course. 

The 2026 Mid-American Conference Tournament is hosted by Kent State April 26-28. This year's championship will take place in Akron, Ohio at Firestone Country Club. 

The 2026 NCAA Regionals will take play May 11-13, while the 2026 NCAA Championships are scheduled for May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
