Ally Turner finished the tournament in fourth place overall, with a score of 913 (+49). Luebbers and McRee both finished in the top 10, with Luebbers finishing regulation tied first.
The hosts of Ball State took home the tournament victory (+24), followed by Dayton (+37) and Indiana Wesleyan (+45) to round out the top three placing teams.
As a team, Ohio opened up the first round, shooting a 306 (+18), finishing the round in fifth place. The Bobcats bounced back in the second round, shooting a 301 (+13), finishing the day in fourth place. In the third round, Ohio shot a 306 (+18) and concluded the classic in sole possession of fourth place with a total score of 913 (+49).
Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the Bobcats at the invitational, recording a round one score of 71 (-1), putting her in a good position for the second round in second place. In the second round, Luebbers shot a 75 (+3) and wrapped up day one in fourth place. On Tuesday morning, Luebbers was able to earn herself a top spot in the classic by shooting a 72 (E), placing her tied first. With the tie, Luebbers participated in a 4-hole playoff and ultimately fell to Ball State's Jasmine Driscoll in the round. In her efforts, Luebbers earned herself a spot on the All-Tournament team, finishing the Classic with a total score of 218 (+2).
McRee (Tucson, AZ) finished next after Luebbers, earning herself a top 10 finish tied for ninth. McRee recorded a round one score of 75 (+3) and a second-round score of 77 (+5), placing tied 12
th coming out of the day. In the third round, McRee shot a 74 (+2) and found herself back in the top 10. McRee finished the tournament with an overall score of 226 (+10).
Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio) placed tied 31
st, shooting rounds of 81 (+9) and 73 (+1) on day one, and 82 (+10) on day 2, closing out the tournament with a total score of 236 (+20).
Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio) left the invitational tied 35
th, with day one scores of 80 (+8) and 80 (+8), and a day two score of 78 (+6), finishing the tournament with a total score of 238 (+22).
Nugent (Fortville, Ind.) also left the invitational tied 35
th, with a day one score of 80 (+8) and 76 (+4), and a day two score of 82 (+10), finishing the tournament with a total score of 238 (+22).
Individually, freshman
Paige Treherne (Cincinnati, Ohio) placed 42
nd with scores of 84 (+12), 77 (+5), and 82 (+10), ending with a score of 243 (+27).
The Bobcats return to the green on October 6-7 in Port Clinton, Ohio, at the 2025 Rocket Classic hosted by Toledo and the Catawba Island Club.
