Ohio Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio baseball team has released its 2025 schedule, as announced by head coach Craig Moore on Monday, Dec. 16. The Bobcats will host 25 games at Bob Wren Stadium and will play a total of 30 conference matchups.

"In putting this schedule together, we were looking to get as many home games as possible and we were able to achieve that goal. We will have 25 games at Bob Wren Stadium, which is the most we have had since my time here. We have added a couple of opponents that we haven't played in a few years, in West Virginia and Ohio State, while also getting two non-conference home series against Butler and VMI," Moore said. "Our non-conference slate will be a very competitive one, and it will help prepare us for MAC play. And then you have the conference portion of the schedule, and that itself is always a grind with all the competitive programs we have in this league."

Ohio will start the season in Spartanburg, S.C. with a three-game series at Wofford (Feb. 14-16). The Bobcats will then travel to Carrollton, Ga. for a three-game series at West Georgia (Feb. 21-23). Ohio will end its road stint with a single game at West Virginia on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Ohio will host Butler for its home opener series (Feb. 28-March 2) at Bob Wren Stadium. The Bobcats will hit the road again for its first competition of the season against Morehead State (March 11) in Morehead, Ky. Ohio is set to host 10 games at home in March including matchups with three conference opponents, Bowling Green (March 7-9) Central Michigan (March 14-16) and Eastern Michigan (March 28-30). The Bobcats will also play a conference road series at Toledo (March 21-23).

Ohio will kick off April with a home game versus Morehead State on Tuesday, April 1 before heading to Northern Illinois (April 4-6) for a three-game conference series. The Bobcats will then return home for non-conference matchups with Marshall (April 8) and VMI (April 11-13). Ohio is set to play four-straight games on the road at Dayton (April 15) and at MAC opponent, Kent State (April 17-19). The Bobcats will conclude April awith four games at home including a matchup with Northern Kentucky (April 22) and the Battle of the Brick series versus Miami (OH) (April 25-27).

Competition in May will primarily feature conference matchups for the Bobcats, except for one non-conference game at Ohio State on Tuesday, May 6. Ohio will begin the month on the road at MAC opponent, Akron (May 2-4). Ohio's final home series of the season will be played against conference foe, Ball State (May 9-11). The Bobcats will conclude the regular season and conference play at Western Michigan (May 15-17).
