Ohio Track & Field Completes Tennessee Relays

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio track & field team competed in the Tennessee Relays at Knoxville, Tenn. this past weekend (April 7-9).
In the 1500m, senior Stephanie Pierce (Fariborn, Ohio) placed 11th out of 44 runners. Pierce clocked a 4:35.92 and was followed by junior Alyssa Christian (Newark, Ohio) who ran a 4:40.66. Freshman Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) also competed for the Bobcats, clocking a time of 4:45.77.
In the 3000m steeplechase, junior Carina Weaver (Lexington, Ohio) and sophomore Kenna Loveless (Tallmadge, Ohio) took fourth and fifth. Weaver clocked a 11:22.21 while, Loveless ran a 11:24.82.
In the 4x1500m, the team of fifth year Hailey Bowes (Arlington Heights, Ill.), Pierce, Christian, and Harris finished 4th with a time of 19:08.19.
Up next, Ohio will return home for the Cherry Blossom Invitational at Goldsberry Track on April 16.
