Jordan Boze joined Ohio University in February 2022 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Broadcast and Video Services.
In this role, Boze oversees the live production arm of Ohio Bobcats Studios, encompassing all ESPN+ productions and Ohio Bobcats Studios YouTube streams. In addition to these responsibilities, Boze is a proud partner of the Scripps College of Communication, providing experiential learning opportunities to the next generation of media professionals by serving as the instructor of record for EM2700 - Introduction to Sports Production, and MDIA 4931 - Independent Production Projects. The introductory course teaches students sports production basics; those who advance to Boze’s second course cover more advanced topics.
"Students are the cornerstone of everything we do here at Ohio University," Boze said. "I am honored to serve as a partner to the Scripps College of Communication, and immensely proud to work with and provide experiential opportunities to students honing their craft to become the next generation of broadcast professionals.”
Since joining Ohio University, Boze has expanded the coverage of home sporting events, bringing ESPN+ level broadcasts to all varsity sports offered at Ohio. In his first four years, Boze has helped oversee the production elements of six Ohio-hosted MAC Championships: Wrestling, Cross Country, Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Women's Swim and Dive, Outdoor Track and Field.
Prior to joining the Bobcats, Boze spent three years as the Director of Live Media at Utah State University, producing and directing all Aggie home games for the Mountain West Network. Before that, Boze had stops at BCSN TV, a local sports production company in Northwest Ohio, and the Grand Rapids, Michigan, affiliates of PBS and Cumulus Media. Boze attended Grand Valley State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in broadcasting.
Boze is a native of Toledo, Ohio, where his parents still reside, has one brother, and is the proud owner of a dog named Mako. A self-proclaimed nerd, in his free time, Boze enjoys playing video and tabletop games, watching movies, and taking nature photography.
