Prior to Ohio: Eakin is a native of Bloomington, Indiana, and attended Bloomington High School, where she swam for four years and was a three-time letterwinner. Eakin comes to Athens as a three-time Conference Champion in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle (2023-2025), a three-time Sectional Champion in the 200 and 500-yard freestyle (2023-2025), and a two-time State Finalist in the 500-yard freestyle. Her team was also a three-time Conference and Sectional Champion. Eakin was the vice-president of her class and had a 4.0 GPA in 2023 and 2025. She was able to swim club for the past eight years with the Indiana Swim Club.

Personal: Eakin is the daughter of Jason and Annie Eakin and has one little brother, Ricky. Her mother, Annie, swam at Ball State University and at North Carolina State University. In her free time, Eakin likes to cook, bake, do nails, and read. While at Ohio, Eakin plans to major in Finance, with her future career still undecided.
